Designed for short-range applications from 2" to 6", the RPS-400-6 ultrasonic sensor measures 0.75" x 2" x 1.5" and comes standard with integrated background suppression. The component is not affected by changes in target color or material and is suitable for detecting clear objects. It operates with input voltages from 20 to 30 Vdc and input currents from 10 to 15 mA. Operating temperature range is from 16°C to 41°C in non-condensing humidity levels from 0% to 95%. Other features include a maximum output of 30V (50 mA con- tinuous), reverse-polarity protection, a transducer frequency of 300 kHz, and minimum and maximum response times of 0.2 ms and 2.1 ms, respectively.
