Promoted as low-cost components, the Virtu and Virtu18 ultrasonic sensors are now available with analog outputs. Both are dual-mount, barrel-style sensors with a sensing range from 50 mm to 508 mm and are available with voltage or current outputs. A unique auto-slope function allows users to set the analog minimum or maximum at the near or far limit, based on which limit is taught first using an external, removable pushbutton. Removing the pushbutton makes the sensor tamper proof. Other features include UL enclosure ratings of NEMA 4X and IP67 plus CE certification. Single-unit price for either sensor is $129.
