n a surface-mount package measuring 9 mm x 14 mm, the company's patent-pending, crystal voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) delivers frequencies up to 2.4 GHz via a differential sine, DPECL, or LVDS output. Typical phase-noise performance for 1 GHz is –130 dBc at 10 kHz. The component specifies a root mean square random-jitter figure of less than 1 ps from 12 kHz to 10 MHz. Other features include a stability of ±20 ppm over a temperature range from 0°C to 70°C and a choice of 3.3V or 2.5V versions. In addition, the oscillator undergoes the rigors of the company’s unique HALT/ HASS reliability program. For more further information and pricing, call NEL FREQUENCY CONTROLS INC., Burlington, WI.
