VCXO Reduces Phase Jitter By 80%

Aug. 6, 2010
The NV7050SA SMD VCXO relies on high-frequency, fundamental-mode crystals to operate at 700 MHz without using PLL frequency multiplication methods.

The NV7050SA SMD VCXO relies on high-frequency, fundamental-mode crystals to operate at 700 MHz without using PLL frequency multiplication methods. The result is a phase-jitter reduction as low as 38 fs, more than 80% when compared to similar class components. Other features include a 7 mm x 5 mm x 1.6 mm package, 170 to 700 MHz frequency range with a nominal tolerance of ±50 ppm, LVPECL or LVDS output, an absolute pull range of ±100 ppm, and an operating temperature range from -40 ºC to +85ºC. Pricing is $15 each/1,000. NDK AMERICA INC., Belvidere, IL. (815) 544-7900.
