Employing a PLL-based design, this new family of emitter-coupled logic (ECL) voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs) is said to offer higher frequencies than are available with HCMOS or TTL VCXOs. And the new oscillators allow the frequency range to be adjusted over a ±100 to ±200 ppm range. The devices come in a 14-pin DIP with a maximum height of 0.3". Depending on frequency and stability requirements, the parts cost approximately $25 each/1000.
