The enhanced 500 Series CompactPCI/VME enclosures for industrial and telecom systems feature a durable and versatile open architecture. The series includes four configurable models, the 505, 535, 545, and 555, each designed to meet VITA and PICMG backplane specifications. They feature the redundancy of hot-swappable N+1 power supplies and front-pluggable cooling systems for high reliability and low MTTR and are configurable for both ac- and dc-power inputs with a ground stud and ESD jack on the rear I/O panel to meet NEBS requirements. Additionally, the 500 Series provides for multiple plug-in peripheral options and configurations and, at 12-in. deep, are configurable as stand-alone benchtop units or integrated into a cabinet as a rack-mount system.
