Whitepaper: Digital Iris – “No Moving Parts” Iris for Miniature Cameras

July 7, 2010

A design concept is presented, in which Tessera’s Extended-Depth-of-Field (EDoF) technology is effectively used to provide camera photography properties usually produced by a mechanical iris. The concept analysis as well as the experimental demonstration is presented.
