YIG Oscillators Set Size Benchmark

June 30, 2010
Trumpeted as the world’s smallest YIG-tuned oscillators, the three-model MLTO-Series TO-8 components cover a bandwidth from 2 GHz to 8 GHz.

Trumpeted as the world’s smallest YIG-tuned oscillators, the three-model MLTO-Series TO-8 components cover a bandwidth from 2 GHz to 8 GHz. Employing permanent magnets and SiGe transistors, they are available in three standard package heights: 0.5”, 0.35, and 0.27” tall. All models have a 0.675” diameter cylinder package, provide +10-dBm of output power, and operate over a 0°C to +65°C commercial temperature range.  Extended temperature models to +85°C are available for all models. Other features include a phase noise performance of -100 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset and -125 dBc/Hz at a 100 kHz offset. For more details and prices, contact Richard M. Leier at Micro Lambda Wireless Inc., Fremont, CA. (510) 770-9221.
