IAR Systems launched its IAR KickStart Kit to help ease development and evaluation of Renesas Electronics’ R-IN32M3 platform for industrial Ethernet protocols.

IAR Systems launched its IAR KickStart Kit to help ease development and evaluation of Renesas Electronics’ R-IN32M3 platform for industrial Ethernet protocols. The kit features IAR Embedded Workbench for ARM, a development toolchain that includes IAR C/C++ Compiler and C-SPY Debugger in an integrated development environment. The R-IN32M3, targeted at industrial networking applications, enhances industrial Ethernet network performance thanks to optimized hardware accelerators. It also reduces costs by supporting protocols such as EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, CANopen, and others from a single device. The device will find homes in real-time communication applications, such as gateways, I/O controllers, PLCs/PACs, embedded controllers, industrial drives, etc.
