Emprog announced that its ThunderBench C/C++ development tool suite, plus its ecosystem, now fully supports Atmel’s SAMG53-Xplained PRO kit. The ThunderBench tool for ARM/Cortex combines a C/C++ compiler, and IDE within the Eclipse platform. Also included are a linker, libraries, and an assortment of ready-to-use board support packages (leveraging project creation wizards and the company’s ThunderCloud technology) for Atmel boards and kits. Its compilation and build tools offer extensive debugging via several debug protocols, including SEGGER JLINK, and analysis possibilities such as complex structure breakpoints, stack performance report, and software tracing.
