The UART interfaces run up to 1 Mbit/s. The USB interface supports the 12-Mbit/s USB 2.0 Full Speed standard. Drivers for Windows, Mac, and Linux are included. The tiny 5- by 5-mm CP2102 costs $2.42. The development kit costs $49.99.
