User-configurable and field-programmable CY22050 and CY22150 clock generators are designed to provide the high bandwidth, low jitter, and high accuracy outputs required by telecommunications, mass storage and multimedia applications. The clock generatorsÕs field-programmability allows users to quickly define a clocking solution that meets the requirements of their specific system configuration. The devices have wide application compatibility, supporting clock frequencies of up to 200 MHz with six clock outputs, complete with power-down, output-enable and 2.5V output options. In addition, the CY22150 also supports an industry-standard, two-wire serial programming interface. Configured with one PLL and packaged in a 16-pin TSSOP, the CY22050 costs $1.63 each/1,000 and the CY22150, $1.92. CYPRESS SEMICONDUCTOR, San Jose, CA. (408) 943-2600.
