Munich, Germany:
At the electronica 2006 show, iC-Haus, one of the leading independent German developers and manufacturers of standard integrated circuits (ICs) for both ASSP and customized ASiC semiconductor solutions, today announced the debut of its iC-MFL, iC-MFN and iC-MFP, monolithically integrated, 8-channel level adjustment devices which drive Logic FETs, N- and P-Channel Power FETs (see the Figure). The products will debut tomorrow at electronica 2006, Nov. 14-17, in Hall A5, Booth A5.560.

The internal circuit blocks have been designed in such a way that with single errors, such as open pins (VB, VBR, GND, GNDR) or the short-circuiting of two outputs, iC-MF L/N/P's output stages switch to a predefined, safe state. Externally connected FET is thus shut down safely in the event of a single error.
