Taking title as the industry’s first single-bit, dual-voltage translator buffer, the FXLP34 allows designers to mix-and-match different voltage levels to provide a low noise buffered interface between any 1V to 3.6V logic state, including 1.6V, 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V. The device employs two separate supply voltages (VCC and VCC1) to translate between logic voltages within a 0.9V to 3.6V range. Translation propagation delays vary according to supply voltage level: VCC values of 3V to 3.6V exhibit 4 ns propagation delays and VCC values of 1.4V to 1.6V typically provide 7 ns delays. The device is available in either a leadless chip-scale or five-lead SC70 package. Price is $0.20 each/1M. FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR INTERNATIONAL, South Portland, ME. (888) 522-5372.
