Powered by the Rabbit 3000 microprocessor, the RCM3100 RabbitCore microprocessor core module enables designers to rapidly develop and implement embedded systems. The RCM3100 has six serial ports and operates at 29.4 MHz and 3.3 V (with 5-V-tolerant I/O). Built-in electromagnetic interference (EMI) features, including a clock spectrum spreader, help designers eliminate emissions-related problems. Available in two models, the RCM3100 is equipped with up to 512 kbytes each of flash and SRAM, quadrature encoder inputs, pulse-width modulation (PWM) outputs, and pulse capture and measurement capabilities. A complete development kit is also available. Available now, RCM3100 models are priced from $27 each in 1000-piece quantities. The development kit costs $239.
