USB 3.0 Hub Controller Supports Four Devices

Accommodating up to four high-bandwidth USB 3.0 devices simultaneously, the VL810 SuperSpeed hub controller embarks as the industry's first integrated single chip that supports the USB 3.0 specification. Handling maximum data-transfer rates up to 5 Gb/s, the device is also backwards compatible with previous USB specifications and offers support for hi-speed (480 Mb/s), full-speed (12 Mb/s), and low-speed (1.5 Mb/s) traffic. Power-management features include the ability for devices to communicate latency tolerance to the host and for links to enter progressively lower power states when link partners are idle.
