10.4" Interfaces Link Operators To PLCs

March 1, 1999

A 16-color, 10.4" display is featured in the MKDC-VGA and MKDT-VGA operator interfaces. The MKDT-VGA features a TFT active-matrix display with VGA resolution. A full ASCII keypad and 25 user LEDs, along with 2 Mbytes of user memory and 32 kbytes of recipe memory, make it useful for data entry applications. Passwords, alarm functions, graphics capability and multi-language features are all included. The MKDC-VGA is offered with a passive color display and is otherwise identical. More than 130 drivers are available for connection to a wide range of PLCs and motion controllers. The interfaces are also able to connect to a number of high-speed buses for industrial control.
