Meeting a variety of processing requirements, the PXR4 1/16 DIN controller provides numerous options that include RS-485, digital inputs, timer functions, heater burnout alarms, dual outputs, programmable alarms, retransmission, and remote set points. The controller features an LED display that is reportedly larger than any 1/16 DIN controller on the market. Its faceplate is watertight and corrosion resistant to NEMA-4X (IP66 equivalent), and a three-button keypad allows for programming similar to PXW controllers. A screw terminal on the rear of the controller eliminates the need for sockets. Additional features include self-tuning that automatically re-tunes the controller without the need to revert to auto tuning. Prices start at $179. TTI FUJI ELECTRIC, Williston, VT. 800-235-8367.
