Numbered among the several features qualifying the CN1632 Series of 1/32 DIN meters for use in controlling temperature and other process variables are large, multi-colored LEDs for indicating process deviation, instrument operating mode, and alarm conditions. The controller clearly identifies the status of a process at all times using a high-visibility, 4-digit display in red or green. A specially developed PID tuning algorithm provides excellent general control, and users can select pre-tuning followed by manual fine tuning to achieve accurate operational performance. Other standard features include universal inputs that accept thermocouple, RTD, voltage or current inputs, while optional features include RS-485 MODBUS communications with up to 128 units addressable on the two-wire, multi-drop line.
