Said to be the world's first 2-kW diode laser for fiber optic connection, JOLD-2000-CAXF-25P2W2 provides power densities up to 250 kW/cm2, making it well-suited for high-power industrial laser systems such as robotics. This device combines the firm's advanced beam-shaping technique with a fiber-based beam-guiding technique developed by HIGHYAG Lasertechnique GmbH. The director-redirector principle and its beam-shaping optics allows the laser diode to generate symmetrical kW diode laser beams. The excellent beam parameter product of less than 200 mm mrad, both in fast and slow axis, makes fiber-coupling possible.
