The instrument also features fast, variable transition times as well as flexible amplitude and duty cycles. Users can save test settings and program the unit for automated test routines. In addition, settings for the HP81101A can be used on other pulse/pattern generators in the firm's 81100 family.The single-channel instrument generates all of the standard pulses required to test current logic technologies. Timing values can be swept without danger of spurious pulses or dropouts that can cause measurement errors.
