AlGaAs Photodiode Can Handle High Temps

Providing usable light current at temperatures above 225°C, CLDX340 AlGaAs photodiode has a minimum light current spec of 2 µA at Ee = 1 mW/pm2. The device is designed for a narrow sensitivity range of 850 to 910 nm. Sensitivity to other wavelengths cuts off sharply outside these limits to match the wavelengths of AlGaAs IREDs. The photodiode comes in a TO-46 header encapsulated with a flat window to provide an acceptance angle of 90° at the half sensitivity points.
