The SW44515 potentiometer switch provides both rotary and push-on/push-off functionality plus LED backlighting. The DPDT switch enables users to specify a value so, at the push of a button, the circuit or channel automatically opens at the preset level. The component integrates two discrete LEDs that backlight the translucent knob in all standard colors. It requires approximately 3" of space behind the display panel and mounts via two screws into the front panel. Interconnection is provided via wire leads or solder terminals. Specs include a voltage rating of 30 Vdc or 120 Vac, current ratings of 2A resistive and 0.5A inductive, and a standard potentiometer resistance of 10 kΩ +10% with others available upon request. Prices range from $29 to $35 each/1,000. ELECTRO-MECH COMPONENTS INC., South El Monte, CA. (888) 442-7180.
