Designed to replace incandescent lamps in applications where shock and vibration can shorten lamp life, the company’s 162 based-type LED lamps offer users a variety of base configurations and voltage ranges. The devices promise an average life span of 100,000 hr. and/or 11 years, said to be from 30 to 50 times longer than incandescent lamp equivalents. In addition to longer life, the LEDs boast of 90% less power consumption and lower surface temperatures than incandesents. Operating voltages range from 5V to 120V ac or dc. Industry-standard lamp base styles include bayonet, wedge, bi-pin, midget grove, midget flange, and telephone slide base. The LEDs are also available in a wide range of colors employing InGaN and AlInGaP LED die technology. Prices start at $1.23 each in production volumes with a lead time of approximately six weeks ARO.
