The Data Vision DV-16210-65-S1MBLY is a 16-character by 2-line LCD with SPI Interface. Based on the popular DV-16210 dot-matrix LCD module, this new display has a viewing area of 99 mm x 24 mm. The individual 5 x 8 pixel character blocks are 4.84 mm x 8.06 mm. Features of the display include support for 8-bit and 4-bit parallel data interfaces as well as 3-wire and 4-wire SPI. The serial interface makes it ideal for projects requiring a high-speed interface and low I/O count. Legacy applications are also supported since the device is compatible with HD44870, S6A0069 and SED 1278.
