The B5303 current-to-voltage transducer converts a primary current (up to 200 A, 50 to 400 Hz) to a programmable 0- to 10-V ac control or instrument voltage. It supplies a low-cost interface to process controllers, alarms, and data acquisition systems such as programmable logic controllers. The output voltage can be used in any ac current control or monitoring application, like loss of current indicators or alarms, overcurrent trip-outs, electrical device failure alarms, equipment operation time totalizers, current displays, and phase imbalance indicators. The part is coated with the company's Bicroflex flexible epoxy to ensure long life even under harsh environmental conditions. It costs under $9 each in OEM quantities.
