The 189 data-logging multimeter unites with the company's View Forms 3.0 software package and premium accessories with the goal of providing significant time and cost savings to users. About the meter, it delivers a basic Vdc accuracy of 0.025% and 20 plus measurement functions including measuring and logging ac and dc voltage and current, resistance and continuity, temperature, dB, as well as performing diode tests. It includes an extended run time battery pack that extends data logging time to over 400 hours. Additionally, the meter captures and time-stamps events that exceed limits set by the user and can log data for more than two weeks (995 points maximum). Compatible with Windows, the software brings the data into the PC and can display and overlay data from up to six DMMs on a single chart. Users can then modify charts, print them, and/or save them. The complete 189/FVF2 Data Logging Kit includes a USB cable adapter, test leads and alligator clips, the 80BK temperature thermocouple, extended life battery pack, soft carrying case, and the TPak magnetic hanger strap.
