Targeting temperature and pressure data-logging applications across a wide range of industries, Omega Engineering offers a number of cost-effective solutions. Whether in the field or in house, these instruments pair comprehensive feature sets with cost-effective pricing.

Described as a precision resistance temperature detector (RTD) temperature recorder, the OM-CP-RTDTEMP2000 has one of the largest memory capacities of any similar data recorder on the market, according to the company. The wallmountable unit provides an eight-button keypad with a lock feature and a large, backlit LCD. NIST traceable calibration is available for users who need to meet regulatory requirements.

Target markets include chemical, water, and food industries. The unit operates off of a 9-V battery with a typical life of one year at a one-minute reading rate with the display off. An optional ac adapter is available for continuous use when the display and backlight are continuously on.

The OM-CP-TC110-2MB thermocouple data logger provides a wide temperature range and accepts J, K, T, E, R, S, B, and N thermocouples. With its extensive memory, it can measure and record up to 262,144 measurements per channel.

Also, its real-time clock module extends battery life to more than two years while allowing high-speed downloads. The data logger plugs into an empty COM or USB port, and its accompanying software takes over.

The OM-CP-PR2000 pressure data logger features a large, backlit LCD and both battery and external power operation. Providing real-time operation, Omega says the instrument includes one of the largest memory capacities of any similar data recorder. Its nonvolatile memory retains recorded data even if ac and battery power are lost.

Other features include an eight-button keypad with lock feature, high-speed downloading, programmable start/stop time, and user-selectable measurement units. NIST traceable calibration is available for users who need to meet regulatory requirements.

Prices for the OM-CP-RTDTEMP2000 and OM-CPTC110- 2MB temperature and OM-CP-PR2000 pressure data loggers start at $499, $299, and $849 each, respectively.
