Representing the latest addition to the WavePro series of digital storage oscilloscopes (DSOs), the WavePro 954 uses the same digitizer-on-chip technology as other members of the line. The new WavePro model is a 1-Ghz, four-channel DSO with 250,000 points of memory and a 2-Gsample/s A/D converter on each channel. It can operate in a two-channel mode at 4 Gsamples/s with double the memory capacity or in single-channel mode at 8 Gsamples/s with 1 Mpoints of memory. A key on the front panel allows the DSO to be setup in a custom fashion to perform specific measurements. Other features include a 10.4" flat-panel color display and the company's Smart Trigger function. Price is $19,990; a 1 MB/channel option costs $3,500. LECROY, Chestnut Ridge, NY. (800) 453-2769.
