These new enclosures have a sealed 19" rack mount cabinet so users can install sensitive electronic components in harsh environments. Enclosures come in heights of 28", 54" and 70" and have rack mount angles and front and rear locking doors. A clear scratch-resistant polycarbonate window front door makes for easy viewing of equipment, controls and displays. Standard equipment includes an all-welded 12-gauge steel frame, 5" locking casters, built-in surge suppressor with a 9' power cord and a split panel for cables. Mounted on top of the enclosure is a thermoelectric air conditioner. The solid-state air conditioner gives a broad range of cooling protection, and is used with communication equipment, laser cooling, crane controls and transportation cases for both industrial and military applications. Temperatures are controlled internally with no outside air entering the cabinet. Models come in 400 BTU, 800 BTU and 1,500 BTU per hour. These air conditioners are lightweight and compact in size. They mount vertically or horizontally, and can withstand shock and vibration in mobile applications. The product has low acoustic noise and lower power requirements than most similar products. Special cooling and heating capabilities can be requested, and the product comes in NEMA12 and 4X configurations.
