Designed for desktop and handheld electronics, these new Tekbox-Slant enclosures are molded in off-white or black ABS (UL 94 HB) and have external dimensions of 6.30" x 3.70" x1.44". The narrow format enclosures have a recessed sloping top for secure location of a membrane keypad or a product label. The base incorporates a battery compartment that can accept one 9V cell or two 1.5V AA cells. Access to the compartment is via a clip-on lid. Board mounting pillars are included in the top and base, and assembly is by four self-tapping screws. Options include special colors and apertures for LEDs, displays and switches; and logos and legends can be silk-screened onto the enclosures, too.
