Functionally compliant with ANSI X3T11 Fibre Channel specs and supporting data transmission rates of 1062 Mbps, S2070 and S2075 transceivers are targeted at simplifying Fibre Channel and RAID designs. S2070 employs an on-chip PLL to synthesize a high-speed clock from a low-speed reference, while the IC's receive PLL synchronizes directly to the incoming data stream to recover the clock and data. S2075 transceiver integrates a bit stream monitor with repeater to receive and monitor the serial bit stream without breaking the loop.
