The S822-D (“Armor”) modular computer system boasts cutting-edge, rugged display capabilities for superior visuals even under the harshest conditions. The screen’s high-resolution and wide-viewing angle is enhanced by an LED backlight and Boot-Kick/EMI screen protection. The coated and etched glass overlay is optically bonded with patented Direct Dry Film, which provides avionics grade quality with optical transmission greater than 97%. The unit’s basic S822 system supports a Core Duo Penryn processor, 6 MB of L2 Cache, up to 8 GB of 1,066 MHz DDR-3 memory, and two removable solid-state drives with up to 512 MB capacity each. It measures 8.5”x 13.25”x 2.75” and consumes a total of 30W. Additionally, the system is compliant with MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-704E and MIL-STD-461F, and supports Windows XP/XPE/7, Linux, and VxWorks operating systems. Single-unit pricing starts at $19,800.
