Four 1GHz Scopes Added To InfiniiVision 3000 X Series

Nuremberg, Germany: Agilent expanded its InfiniiVision 3000 X Series of oscilloscopes with four 1GHz models, doubling the available bandwidth for this family. A new 1GHz active probe was added, too. The N2795A probe is designed to match the performance needs of the 3000 X Series, at a price comparable to passive probes with similar bandwidth.

Both the 2000 and 3000 X Series now offer the option of a three-digit digital voltmeter (DVM) and five-digit counter that operate through the same probes as the oscilloscope channels. These measurements are decoupled from the oscilloscope triggering system, so that DVM and triggered oscilloscope measurements can be made with the same connection. DVM results are presented by an always-on seven-segment display.

The new 1GHz models include the DSOX3102A (two channels), DSOX3104A (four channels), MSOX3102A (two analogue plus 16 digital channels) and MSOX3104A (four analogue plus 16 digital channels).
