Full Featured LCR Meter Priced Under $10,000

Oct. 1, 2002

A new LCR meter has a measurement function to display any of its 14 measurement parameters in graphical or tabular form versus test frequency, voltage or current. The 7600 Precision LCR Meter’s measurement function can show a sweep display on the instruments’ front panel LCD display for fast verification of component response without any complex programming. Touted for its effectiveness for applications in R&D, quality control, incoming inspection or pass/fail production testing, the 7600 can be used on its own or with another system. Basic measurement accuracy is 0.05%. Up to 289,900 programmable frequencies can be measured from 10 Hz to 2 MHz. A 3.5" disk drive is built in for setup and data storage of up to 40,000 measurements. This product has a seven-digit measurement resolution, automatic sequencing of up to six individual tests, and comes with IEEE-488, RS-232, printer and handler interfaces. The ac test voltage can be programmed over the range of 20 mV to 5V or test current over a range of 250 µA to 100 mA. Pricing is $9,895. QUADTECH INC., Maynard, MA. (800) 253-1230.
