Designed for bioinstrumentation and photo-finishing applications, the Compass 215M diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS), continuous-wave (CW) laser emits at 532 nm. Offered as a cost-competitive green laser, the device can be mated with the company's Sapphire OPSL semiconductor laser to achieve a green/blue wavelength combination. Other features of the 215M include conductive cooling, a TEM00 beam profile, and an intra-cavity frequency-doubling crystal. For more details, call COHERENT, INC., Santa Clara, CA. (408) 764-4000.
