A new rubber protector enhances the design of the Datec-Control S enclosures. The cases are designed for housing handheld instruments which are commonly used both indoors and outside. The protector is designed to protect both the enclosure and the electronics from the occasional bumps and knocks of everyday use. The protector, which is easily attached to the case, has an aperture in the front for plug connectors. A ring is included in the bottom end for a wrist strap. Molded in off-white or black ABS plastic, the cases measure 8.97 by 2.83 by 1.85 in. They feature a narrow holding area for increased user comfort. A large display area accommodates graphics LCD modules. Quantity pricing for the Datec-Control S cases starts at $11 each.
