Meeting standards required for environments common to military and industrial applications, the HE-1400 and HE-1600 series controllers for LCD systems feature 12 Vdc ± 25% power supplies, locking connectors, low-mass tantalum capacitors, Mil-spec silicon resin conformal coatings, certified operating temperature ranges of -40ºC to +80ºC, and MTBFs in excess of 150,000 hours (HE-1600) and 200,000 hours (HE-1400). Both are RoHS compliant. The HE-1400 series measures 4.2” x 3.6” and includes DVI and ARGB inputs. It supports both LVDS and TTL panels and is capable of supporting 4:3 format panels up to SXGA and 6:9 panels up to WXGA. Fully buffered, the HE-1600 series multi-sync interface controller provides direct analog and digital connections to a range of TFT panels up to UXGA. It provides inputs for DVI, dual VGA channels, composite video, S-Video, and component video across 4:3 and 16:9 formats. Prices for the HE-1400 and HE-1600 are $110 and $180 each/1,000, respectively. For more details, call Neil Wood at DIGITAL VIEW INC., Morgan Hill, CA. (408) 782-7773.
