Suitable for microcontroller applications, the OEM 4-LED four-digit LED module communicates via a serial interface and employs low-power red LEDs to produce a highly visible display with a typical current consumption of 20 mA at 5V. Each of its 7-segment digits measure 0.31" high, and users can set the module's three decimal places individually. Connection to the display is by way of a 12-pin DIL with a standard 2.54-mm pitch.
