Lock-Out Relays Have Smart Nameplates

Available for the first time with Smart nameplates, the Series 24 Lock-Out-Relays have nameplates with bright LEDs that continuously display Trip Coil Continuity and provide a clear warning against closing into a fault. In operation, the relay trip coil is continuously monitored for continuity. In the RESET position, a highly visible LED glows a continuous green, indicating that the coil circuitry is intact and the relay is ready to respond to a trip signal. If a fault is detected, the device jumps to the trip position and a red light then functions as a trip signal monitor.
