Message Display Units Expand Functionality

Expanded messaging capability for end users and OEMs are featured in the Dataliner DL40 Plus message displays. Units are offered in two- and four-line versions with remote I/O and parallel interface options. All come standard with serial RS-232 and RS-485 ports, allowing connection to the firm's PLC-5 and SLC Channel 0 ports. Other features include: real-time clock with full Y2K compliance; concurrent RS-232 and RS-485 communication; a bright vacuum fluorescent display; integration of up to 128 kbytes of flash memory for field firmware upgrades; and English, Cyrillic and international character sets.The units are drop-in replacements in existing applications for the company's DL10, DL20 and DL40 Dataliner message display units.
