Boasting of a new ergonomic design that integrates a holster with a functional Magne-Grip hanging strap and an easy-access battery door, the XR-Series of digital multimeters (DMMs) encompasses five models, each designed to meet the needs of electronics test, field service and industrial applications. The basic 30XR has a built-in non-contact voltage detector and a "data hold" feature. The top-of-the-line 38XR can measure 750V true-rms, AC + DC with a RS-232 PC connection. It also has a 10,000-count display with a bright blue, neon backlight, as well as autoranging, frequency and temperature functions. The multimeter also features 0.25% basic accuracy and the highest IEC 1010 safety rating (CAT IV) available. Other models include the 33XR multimeter with temperature, requency and capacitance capabilities and the 34XR and 37XR autoranging digital multimeters with true-rms and backlighting.
