Passive LCD Module Integrates Touch-Screen

Jan. 1, 1999

An improved viewing angle and higher brightness compared with previous models, combined with the addition of an integrated touch-screen, make the LM8V31 passive matrix color LCD module highly suited for point-of-sale and Web phone applications. The 640 x 480 VGA display offers a 0.25-pixel pitch and high contrast ratio of 30:1. Its response time is 350 ms with a brightness of 55 nits through the integrated touch- screen. Power consumption is just 1.6W. Other models in the series, such as the low-power LM8V30, omit the touch-screen and consume just 0.830W. All models in the series are 7.7" diagonal displays.
