Making ample use of an ATi Rage Mobility M1 graphics controller, the EPM-VID-3 PC/104+ video module handles a myriad of embedded apps with support for a wide range of display types. These include CRTs and LVDS flat panels with resolutions up to 1,600 x 1,200 and 24-bit color. Key features include 8 MB of video RAM, up to three simultaneous display outputs, and hardware-based MPEG-2 decoding. Said to exhibit low power consumption, the module also provides a customizable video BIOS and a TV output for NTSC-type monitors and displays.
