Transportation, meter reading, and machine and inventory control are among the many application areas targeted by the JETT.ce, a rugged, 18 oz., handheld computer that is designed for one-hand operation. The computer supports Windows CE.NET and a 200 MHz or 400 MHz Xscale processor, a battery-backed real-time clock, sunlight readable display with optional touch-screen, and a variety of interfaces. Its 192 x 128-pixel, monochrome LCD is available with a LED backlight, while a QVGA-TFT color display is offered as an option. The JETT.ce comes with 64 MB of SDRAM and 16 MB of Compact Flash and can be equipped with a compact flash slot. One RS-232 serial port is standard, with a second port - namely, RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 - offered as an option. Quantity one pricing is $949.
