Building fully integrated, customized instrumentation systems to solve a variety of data acquisition and test and measurement applications is possible with the PXI-1020, a self-contained instrument platform with an integrated 6.4" LCD display, pointing device, and CD-ROM drive that are adjacent to eight PXI/CompactPCI slots. By combining the user interface with the PXI chassis in the same enclosure, the chassis is well-suited for applications that are portable or constrained by space. Engineers can choose from several hundred PXI or CompactPCI modules, including instruments such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, and multimeters.
