Expanding the company’s wire-wound power inductor offerings, the NR6028 series inductors measure 6 mm x 6 mm x 2.8 mm and target dc/dc converter choke coil applications in LCD / plasma TVs and other flat panel displays. Hosting 13 models, the series offers dc-resistance specs from 0.013 to 0.6 Ohms, inductance values from 0.9 to 100 µH, and higher current ratings from 0.62A to 6.6 A. Additionally, the components feature a unique sleeveless, square-core winding that eliminates all excess space and thickens the lead wire inside the inductor to achieve the lowest possible dc resistance.
