Complimenting the PETracer/PETrainer protocol analyzers and exercisers, version 4.4 of PETracer software includes automated PCI Express compliance testing with 100% coverage of the PCI-SIG defined validation tests for the link and transaction layers

Complimenting the PETracer/PETrainer protocol analyzers and exercisers, version 4.4 of PETracer software includes automated PCI Express compliance testing with 100% coverage of the PCI-SIG defined validation tests for the link and transaction layers of the protocol. The application displays a log window that shows the events leading up to the pass or fail of an individual compliance test. It identifies errors, including type, shows where the errors occur in the trace, and provides hyperlinks back to the location of the error within the trace. Via a proprietary verification script engine, users can run initiator scripts independently from the turnkey system and create their own custom evaluation and validation tests. The PETracer Version 4.4 upgrade is available free of charge to existing users. LECROY CORP., Chestnut Ridge, NY. (800) 453-2769.
