Aeroflex added new communications standards to its PXI 3000 series modular test platform, enabling test engineers to address a variety of 2G and 3G wireless data standards with one software-defined system. Additions include the Bluetooth measurement suite and the WLAN and CDMA2000/1xEVDO plug-ins for the PXI Studio software application. There are also upgrades to the WiMAX, UMTS Uplink, and GSM/EDGE measurement suites. All measurement suites are supported by the company’s PXI Studio software for manual operation with versatile measurement displays to facilitate test system integration as well as testing and problem solving in the production and development stages. The GSM/EDGE, UMTS Uplink, CDMA2k/1xEV-DO, WLAN, WiMAX, and Bluetooth Measurement Suites are available for order now. AEROFLEX INC., Wichita, KS. (800) 835-2352.
