The T982F3 series rack-mount power distribution unit (PDU) with current monitoring supports a 208V/30A power input, said to be a more efficient way to distribute power in a data center or in high-density enclosures. Operating equipment at 208V versus 120V is said to decrease current draw by up to 50%, allowing for greater equipment density. The PDU powers up to 12 devices with power output delivered via industry standard IEC 60320 type C13 receptacles. On the front panel is an ultra-bright, 2-digit current meter display that can be read from up to 20' away. As a member of the company's design-your-own series, users can configure only the options they need such as power-cable length, power filtering, and current metering. Prices for the T982F3 range from $386 to $595. PULIZZI ENGINEERING INC., Santa Ana, CA. (800) 870-2248.
